Community involvement is a big part of our culture. In addition to the services we provide businesses and non-profits, we support our communities in many ways. For example:
- Since 2004 we have donated at least 20 days of coaching and consulting each year to local non-profit organizations.
- We provide United Way of Mass Bay & Merrimack Valley with unlimited free professional development for their executives and key employees.
- In 2008 we created a new kind of fundraiser for local socially responsible teenagers. They needed to raise money for their summer trip to the Appalachia Service Project where they will be helping disadvantaged kids and adults. Engage delivers a public speaking class for teenagers annually and 100% of all tuition is donated for the trips.
- In 2010 we gave 55 scholarships so leaders of small local non-profits could attend our classes on fundraising and presentation skills.
- We created a leadership development program for homeless and disadvantaged kids. The program focuses on enhancing their public speaking skills so they build greater confidence and self-esteem.
